Happy Awal Muharam (Maal Hijrah) 1430 Hijrah (Dec 29’08) to all my fellow Muslim and Muslimah. Since it once a year, so I bring it up again ‘Doa Awal Tahun’ and ‘Doa Akhir Tahun’ that can be found here.
Is the fasting in Muharram is allowed?
The Prophet was then asked: "Which fast is the best after the fast of Ramadan?"He replied: "The voluntary fasts during the Month of God that you call Muharram.
How should we celebrate it? I celebrate it by praising Prophet Muhammad, praying for Allah’s peace to be upon him for all the suffering has been through to convey what has been revealed to him to us as he got it. I’m trying to fasting, read quran and solat a lot on that day. Insya-Allah.
